In October 2004 the St Andrews IDEA Project had its Federal Government Major Project Facilitation status (MPF) renewed for a future three years. MPF provides Federal support for the IDEA Project to create employment in the Yanchep Two Rocks region, with a target of 50,000 jobs at build out. Some 20,000 of these are targeted to be in the emerging smart global industries like health, bio-science, environmental technology, education, IT and tourism.
