The IDEA Project study program commenced in 1999 and has now moved to the implementation phase.

Its objectives were to:

• research,
• evaluate and
• design

a socially responsible, economic development strategy which is practically implementable, and which leverages the natural competitive advantages of Western Australia in a regional and global context.
